If you order a shared hosting plan from our company and if you make use of our email services, you’ll be able to activate spam filters for any of the email accounts that you set up from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. With no more than a few clicks of the mouse, you can select between five different levels of security. If you start receiving spam, you can start with the lowest level and then slowly increase the level till you stop getting spam. We use one of the best and most popular filters available called SpamAssassin. It analyzes the header field and the body of every email that you get and determines a spam score, based on which it either deletes a given message or permits it to enter your inbox. The Hepsia Control Panel will also permit you to set up custom filters and either eliminate unsolicited messages or forward them to a 3rd-party address such as email@example.com where you can check them once again later.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you take advantage of one of our Linux semi-dedicated hosting, you won’t have to worry about unsolicited bulk email messages clogging your mailboxes all the time, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin email filter that we offer with each account. Our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel will allow you to enable the filter for any mailbox with a couple of clicks of the mouse and you can pick one of the 5 protection levels – from very high to very low. The level can be altered at any time if, for example, genuine email messages get blocked, or if junk email messages go through and reach your Inbox folder. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered email messages to be re-sent to a special mailbox such as firstname.lastname@example.org and not to be deleted. In this way, you can go through them every now and then to make certain that you have not omitted a genuine message.
